  • Make your annual donation of $1500 per student in November and be entered to win TWO FREE AUCTION TICKETS! (Annual donation includes all sources of giving, including corporate match, and may be spread across monthly payments.)
• Contact your SchoolForce school chairperson to get involved and volunteer!
• Remember SchoolForce on Giving Tuesday, November 28th, and by including us in your charitable donations.

BRSSD - Facing Funding Uncertainty

In early November, town hall meetings where held in the school district to educate families about the Future Funding Uncertainty in Belmont-Redwood Shores Schools.
The Challenge: Our district continues to perform well, but we are facing program cuts in2018 and even greater cuts in 20198. Local revenues have not kept pace with our enrollment growth and BRSSD’s per student funding is now below the already low state average, and this gap continues to grow. This presentation covers enrollment, funding, and best solutions. Click here to see the full presentation and understand the issues behind funding uncertainty in our district.
